Diggles
Diggles is a token and a collection of 1,000 Diggle NFTs that launch together and operate as one economic system. The token acts as the mine. The Diggles are the miners working inside it.
Every time the token trades, creator fees are generated. Those fees flow into a shared reward pool and are distributed to Diggle holders every 30 minutes based on reward weight. Holders raise that weight by permanently burning tokens, and protocol fees keep buying Diggles off the market and retiring them for good.
There is one source of income in this system and it is trading activity. Every buy and every sell on the token generates a creator fee. Nothing is minted to pay rewards and no yield is promised out of thin air. Quiet mine, slow pool. Busy mine, fast pool.
Collected fees are split at the contract level, automatically, and the split does not change after deployment.
| Fee destination | Share | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Reward pool | 80% | Paid to Diggle holders every 30 minutes |
| Retirement | 15% | Buys Diggles off the market and removes them permanently |
| Operations | 5% | Infrastructure, feeds and ongoing development |
The reward pool and the retirement wallet are public addresses. Every unit that moves through them can be checked without taking anyone's word for it.
The collection opens with a hard ceiling of 1,000 Diggles. That is the maximum the system will ever contain, and it can only move one way: down. There is no expansion set and no mechanism anywhere in the protocol capable of creating a new Diggle.
Holding one is holding a claim on a share of every fee the mine collects, for exactly as long as you hold it. Payouts run on a fixed 30 minute cycle.
Your share is decided by reward weight. Not wallet size, not follower count, not when you showed up.
Your weight in a cycle is the time you actually held divided by the full cycle length. Buying two minutes before a payout earns two minutes of that payout.
There is no snapshot to time and no edge in sniping the clock.
Every Diggle starts at Level 1 with a reward weight of 1.00×. Holders raise that level by permanently burning tokens. Higher level, heavier weight, larger slice of every future distribution. The level is written to the Diggle itself, so it survives a sale and travels with the asset.
Each level costs more than the one before it. Level 10 is not an afternoon grind, it is a decision to destroy supply in exchange for a permanent claim on more of the mine.
Burned tokens go to the burn address. They are not recycled into the reward pool and not recoverable. A Level 10 Diggle is a receipt for 6,525,000 tokens that no longer exist.
15% of every fee the protocol collects is spent buying Diggles from the secondary market. A Diggle bought this way is not resold, not raffled and not parked in a treasury that quietly earns beside you. It is retired: removed from the active collection, stripped of its weight, finished working for good.
That does two things at once. It puts a standing, fee funded bid under the floor, and it permanently shrinks the crew splitting the pool. Nobody votes on it and nobody has to remember to run it.
Retirement fires at unpredictable intervals with no published schedule. A buy you can predict is a buy you can farm.
Listings must be at least 20 minutes old to qualify, and one wallet can sell at most one Diggle into any single retirement.
| Active Diggles | Share per Level 1 | Share per Level 5 | Share per Level 10 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | 0.10% | 0.23% | 0.50% |
| 800 | 0.13% | 0.29% | 0.63% |
| 600 | 0.17% | 0.38% | 0.83% |
| 400 | 0.25% | 0.58% | 1.25% |
| 250 | 0.40% | 0.92% | 2.00% |
Figures assume every other active Diggle sits at Level 1. Real shares depend on the total weight in the system at the moment of each distribution.
Everything described above is executable in the app. Connect a wallet and you get the live cycle clock, your crew, your accrued rewards and the burn console. Nothing is a screenshot.
Live countdown to the next distribution, the fee inflow funding it, and the pool it is paid from.
Spend tokens on a level, watch the weight and your share of the pool move on the spot.
Accrual ticks by the second. Claim whenever you want, with the full history kept next to it.
